The district connects the Park Hill and Mayfair neighborhoods along Colfax Avenue from Eudora Street to Monaco Parkway as well as the Mayfair Town Center at 14th Avenue and Krameria Street.  Our logo, a stylized version of a Krameria flower, represents the fresh energy in our neighborhood main street.  Here we offer the deals, treasures and everyday conveniences that make urban life better. But…this main street is nothing like the polite sameness of a suburban mall, and we’d never want it to be.

Mission and Projects

The Colfax Mayfair Business Improvement District (BID) was formed by petition and special election in 2014. It is a special district that provides enhanced local services through a self-governed annual assessment to all property owners in the district. We work closely with the City of Denver to implement economic development, placemaking, public safety and advocacy efforts.

The BID’s priority is placemaking.  This once-neglected area now has award-winning dining, creative home and garden stores, and popular retailers.  An improved sense of place will add identity and a sense of cohesiveness to the district, supporting consumers and business alike.
